On June 15, the Mercer County Park Commission and the Tulpehaking Nature Center graciously hosted a primitive pottery making workshop lead by the Archaeological Society of New Jersey. The workshop included 20 participants and Archaeological Society of New Jersey Volunteers, among whom included Daryl Daum, Robin Daum, Cyndi Riley, Ilene Grossman-Bailey, Sylvia Bailey, Lauren Lembo, Kim Keene, and Michael Gall. Jack Cresson generously donated useful supplies. Everyone had a fun time and used the instruction to make their own pots incorporating aspects of Native American ceramic production techniques. The ASNJ expresses thanks to Kelly Rypkema for coordinating the event.
